Eisen
Maatregelen conform ISPM 15 zijn per 1 juni 2005 van kracht. Voor landen waar B. xylophilus voorkomt, worden hogere concentraties methylbromide (MB) vereist. Aanbevolen wordt om voor zendingen naar Zuid-Korea geen verpakkingshout te gebruiken dat in Portugal of Spanje is gemarkeerd.
Begassing met methylbromide zal niet geaccepteerd worden voor die landen (Portugal in Europa) waar Bursaphelenchus xylophilus (Pine Wood Nematode) voorkomt. Dit heeft momenteel voor Nederland geen consequenties.
Geregistreerden
The NVWA (Netherlands Food and Consumer Product Safety Authority) is not yet aware of a list of registered companies for this country. Only wood sourced from recognized registered companies in the country in question may be used in the production of wooden packaging without treatment and subsequently sold as packaging that meets the requirements of ISPM 15.
